Hey! so random question. I'm going to be a senior next year with a BS in psychology. I'm not sure what I want to do within the field so would you recommend taking a year off or try to figure it out and go to grad school? I just want someone else's perspective for a change.

Do you have any specific graduate programs in mind?

Taking a year off can be great, or it can make it tougher to get back into the mindset of school. If you do take a year off, make sure you are preparing for graduate school in some way shape or form. If you are leaning towards a practice based graduate program, make sure you are getting some volunteer, hands on experience in a practice setting. If you are leaning research, try to get on a faculty member’s research project. Get as much research experience as possible, if you can get your name on a publication, you’ll have a better shot of getting into a program.
